Happy New Year! Things at our project have been going well. We are excited to announce that two of the first children to be taken in by VCDF's Buddies Project have graduated high school and have enrolled in university! One hopes to become a music teacher and the other will study to become a social worker.
Thanks to Not For Sale, we have been able to build a new dormitory that will comfortably house all of our 130 kids. The kids are extremely thankful for Not For Sale's continued support and have quickly adapted to the new dorm's spacious bedrooms and bathrooms.

We have kept busy over the last few months that have included a few exciting events; We were visited by the Not For Sale's Free2Play team, headed by the Gray Institute. The team held a basketball camp for all 130 of our kids after they generously installed a full basketball court!
We are also excited about our new gift shop in Mae Sai that sells merchandise made by our drug rehabilitation participants and gives them a quiet, creative space to produce purses, jewelry and a lot more.
If you are in California, we hope you will take the opportunity to see our founder, Kru Nam, at Not For Sale's Global Forum on Human Trafficking on October 14-15. For more information, please click here.

We have a new Web site!
Currently in Thailand, we are experiencing summer break and are welcoming back our VCDF kids who study at various boarding schools throughout Thailand. We had our 'Olympic Games' last week and continue to keep our kids busy with art therapy activities and vocational training that include weaving, fish-raising, making household detergents and taking care of over 200 chickens!
